The ALLIGATOR 320 single person Kayak

With a larger tube diameter and a low seat position, the Alligator is a river runner designed to be stable and forgiving in whitewater. The big tube and the added buoyancy in the floor, make this the choice for carrying loads in bigger volume rivers. The extra kick in the bow make this an extremely forgiving ride. The Alligators suit expert paddlers looking for extra space as well as knocking a grade of any river for the novice paddler who will enjoy the extra stabilty in rapids.

The fully adjustable thigh-brace system allows the paddler to be at one with the boat. If you do find yourself in a tricky situation, exit from the thigh-brace is quickly accomplished in a single leg- straightening action. The combination of self bailing drain holes and high volume inflatable floor quickly dumps the water. Takes a grade of any whitewater, easily handled by a novice. Often used as support and rescue boats on rafting expeditions.This model is currently employed commercially to run the Zambezi. A more exciting descent is hard to find. The ALLIGATOR 420

The Alligator 420, essentially the two person version of the Alligator also handles the whitewater with ease whilst still being a fast flat water boat.The two person Alligator is a great day ripping boat if you are looking for more performance and a more exciting ride than the Croc, while at the same time being way more stable than the Kayark 420. The Alligator 420 can be configured for a two or one paddlers, as a solo rig this is a remarkable expedition kayak capable of carrying as much as anyone would need for a 10 day wilderness trip. The Alligator 420 folds into an 18-kg bundle! Despite this amazing attribute, it remains more than capable of extended expedition tripping.

The CROC CR2

Originally, the CROC was developed to enable rafting operators to access waterways where no other boat could go. Since then, it has proved overwhelmingly popular as an indispensable family craft. Its carrying power, performance and versatility continue to amaze even us!

Now also widely used as a rapid deployment rescue craft by rescue services and police search and rescue. In South Africa the ARK Croc is on the Swiftwater Rescue standard operating equipment lists.

The CROC’s unique standard closed-cell foam floor provides rigidity, buoyancy and protection. Its flat profile glides easily over the water and it boasts a rapid self bailing floor system for the big water. Weighing in at just 23kgs, it folds to the size of a large suitcase and is easily popped into the boot of your car, yacht locker or camper van.

The FISHDUC 350

The FISHDUC is the No.1 selling inflatable boat in ARK’S fleet. What you use it for is up to you but the options are endless. It’s perfect for fishing or crayfishing, diving, as a runabout or for exploring rivers!

The FISHALOT 420

The FISHALOT is the newest exciting addition to ARKs fleet. Riding on the shoulders of the Fishduc’s giant success we have evolved the Fishalot, with more buoyancy, longer boat and high performance tube shape thus satisfying the most demanding of our clients who wanted all the pros of the Fishduc’s versatility but needed a bigger boat.

The Fishalot is now the most efficient boat anywhere, easily cruising for two hours at a speed of 15 knots with 5hp motor and three litres of fuel.

Fishalot is fitted with an adjustable seating system so you can choose the most comfortable seating position for you. Two seating options are available, wooden bench, or inflatable cushions and backrests The Fishalot is the ideal remote expedition boat, capable of travelling great distances on minimal fuel and still having space for loads up to 600kgs. Packed sized is 110 x 45 x 45 – small enough to fly in to any exotic location What you use it for is up to you but the options are endless. The MINNOW 270 AF/WF

Lightweight and extremely portable, the Minnow was built to be easily inflated whether on the foredeck, pier, beach, or even in the water from the swim step of your powerboat. Designed to pack away small for stowage in the boot or a locker.

The new Air Floor variation features a specialised high-pressure inflatable floor constructed from drop thread fabric. This advanced feature, greatly improves rigidity and stability, usually only enjoyed by heavier vessels in a larger class.

The OTTER 300 AF/WF

The OTTER is ARK’s midsize inflatable at 3m long and 1.5m wide overall. Built with a 400 mm diameter tube, this robust inflatable sports a new tube design that looks neat and performs well. It is suitable as a tender or fishing and leisure boat, with a carrying power of 2-3 people.

The OTTER is designed for a short-shaft outboard motor up to 10hp. It weighs in under 32kg, is easily handled by 2 people, and folds small enough to fit in a car boot.
